Welcome to ContactLenses.li, the Long Island website of
Woodbury based, OpticMasters.com. This site was created to
make it as convenient as possible to contact us with any
contact lense/eye care questions you may have.
More
than 30 million Americans use contact lenses. In addition
to offering flexibility, convenience, and a "no-glasses" appearance, "contacts" help
correct a variety of vision disorders, including nearsightedness,
farsightedness, astigmatism, and poor focusing with reading
material. Because they are worn directly on the eye, contact
lenses also present potential risks. The best strategies
for contact lens safety involve maintenance, cleanliness,
and learning as much about it as you can.

The team of Dr. Deborah Rose and Optician Arthur Singer
have the answers to your eye care questions and needs.
Dr. Deborah Rose attended the SUNY State College of Optometry,
where she received the Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. Rose
is certified to diagnose and treat eye disease as well as
provide comprehensive eye exams and contact lenses. She is
a member of the American Optometry Association, New York
State Optometry Association and the Nassau County Optometric
Association
Arthur Singer has been a Licensed
Optician since 1976. He is a member of the NYS Society
of Opticians Alliance of New York, National Academy of
Opticians and the American Board of Opticians. Arthur specializes
in the latest lens technology and custom designed eye wear.
With today's technology you have many choices. Contact lenses
are NOT an over-the-counter product. Be extremely cautious
when buying contacts from someone other than your eye care
professional. When choosing contact lenses, water content and
shapes vary amongst the different brands. The correct choice
of which lens is right for you should be based only on an examination
by your eye care professional.
